The quality and standard of our produce is at the forefront of our minds. We ensure our produce meets the highest standards going through a rigorous quality control process, on site in our quality assessment room.
Our accreditations include red tractor, Leaf, select farm, Assured produce, Assured combinable crops, soil association and BRCGS.
Conventional Produce
We produce conventional crops including seed and ware potatoes, onions, Pak Choi, Fennel, sugar beet, maize and cereals. We also use established agricultural practices that support strong yields and good quality. Our dedicated team manages each stage of the growing process with care, balancing productivity with responsible land management to deliver the best quality produce at the right time for the customer season after season.
Our light sandy soils and proximity to the sea are ideal for producing early and late crops without too much hindrance from frost or too much heat in the summer.
Irrigation is essential to our production and is used responsibly with rain guns, booms and trickle using modern monitoring systems . We have access to reservoirs, rivers and bore water.
We have a policy of not planting any crop unless we have commitments or contracts with customers with much of our produce ending up on Supermarket shelves.
Organic Produce
The farm went into organic production in 2009, we grow organic crops with care, experience and respect for the land. We are rooted in responsible farming practices that support the soil health, bio-diversity, and high quality produce.
We grow a wide range of organic vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, beans, squash, beetroot, courgettes, pak choi, radish and sweetcorn.
