Sweet Potato

We have a number of successful years growing organic sweet potato at James Foskett Farms. The crop was grown on light land through a mulch, which allowed the grower to get warmer soil temperatures, resulting in a good-sized potato. There are many ways to propagate sweet potatoes, but we using purchased and our own grown vine- slips- from the plant. Keeping under plastic cover for create a warmer micro climate during early stage of growing.
