Sugar Beet

Sugar Beet is grown on the farm for British Sugar and processed by the Bury St Edmunds factory. The crop has been very important to crop rotations and farm profitability in east Suffolk for many years and it looks as though the 2023 price increases will make a big difference to growers continuing to grow the crop.
